Research projects within this area can be categorized into 2 units: population health/epidemiology unit which deals with the health of a broad-based cohort, and clinical epidemiology unit which handles clinical medicine and medical data.
The main goals of these research units are:
- to formulate an effective epidemic prevention strategy based on observational and intervention studies.
- to provide information on effective medical care, through high-quality clinical research and evidence assessment.
